Chairman, President, and CEO, The Bank of Elk River
Mr. Babcock is the fifth-generation Babcock to serve as chairman of the bank. He has been with the bank since 1997 and a board member since 2000. He worked as a branch manager and commercial lender before becoming president. Under his leadership, the bank entered a new era of innovation during times of opportunity and challenges. Mr. Babcock led through exponential technological advancement with the inception of the smartphone, social media, WiFi, and streaming as a way to connect with customers. Additionally, he led the bank through global impacts, including 9/11, the Great Recession, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2020 recession. Mr. Babcock graduated from Colorado College and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He is also the former owner of Apples Associates, Inc.
Chief Operating Officer, ExpressionMed
Ms. Hoogmoed joined the bank as a director in October 2014 and currently serves as the COO for ExpressionMed. Her extensive experience includes strategic planning, DTC, business operations, e-commerce, brand development, and extensive fiscal management for major companies. Ms. Hoogmoed grew up overseas and has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Amsterdam, and San Francisco, giving her a global outlook on business. She has worked for Charles Schwab, Shearson Lehman, American Express, Kenner Parker Tokyo, Taste of Ireland Amsterdam, Mintahoe Hospitality Group, Crave, and Your Wedding Experience - Presented by David Tutera. She also served as the CEO of UBM Catersource, LLC, for 20 years.
Retired, The Bank of Elk River
Mr. Wilson has served on the bank's board of directors since 2004 and is also a director and officer for the bank's holding company. He retired in 2016 from a 41-year career in banking with The Bank of Elk River. In retirement, he remains active with many diverse hobbies, particularly waterfowl hunting and ultimate fishing experiences in North, Central, and South America. He enjoys traveling with the goal of visiting all the U.S. National Parks.

Mr. Dwyer has served as a director on the board since 1985 but started with the bank in 1965, working part-time for his father, the former bank president. Mr. Dwyer retired from the bank in July 2014 but has continued as a consultant. He has worked in almost every bank capacity, including bookkeeper, teller, cashier, consumer lender, commercial lender, CFO/COO, president, and board secretary.

Ms. Misner joined The Bank of Elk River as a director in June 2021 with more than 17 years of business acumen across numerous industries, including agriculture, airline, legal, medical, and non-profit sectors. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in strategic planning, cultural development, business analysis, project management, and consulting to the board. She is an avid volunteer and serves on local, state, and national boards developing leadership training programs and blood and marrow treatments.
President, Steinwall, Inc.
Mr. Smolenski joined the board of directors in October 2022. As a third-generation president of Steinwall, an award-winning business specializing in engineering, plastic injection molding, secondary operations, and distribution, Mr. Smolenski has learned what it takes to be a business leader with extensive experience in manufacturing, organizational management, and business process development. He has an MBA with concentrations in operations strategy, organizational performance, and human performance.

Mr. Lundy started serving as a director on the bank's board in January 2023. Mr. Lundy is the founding Principal of Broadway Investors, Evolve Workplace, and DWL Consulting. Mr. Lundy's background began in banking, where he was an experienced portfolio manager, commercial lender, and bank consultant. He has a Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Denver and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking.
Branch Chief, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Ms. Babcock is a fifth-generation family shareholder of The Bank of Elk River and joined the board of directors in November 2022. She has extensive experience in policy development and is a skilled communicator and collaborator working with various government, state, tribal, and municipal agencies. Ms. Babcock has a Master's degree from Duke University.
